while we are talking 273 commando i know a guy here who used to have a
65 formula S barracuda with the 4 speed and he said his little commando
could  hit 7000 rpm no problem.
   the scary thing about those early cudas and dartts and valiants is
   that they weigh about 2900-3100 pounds depending.
   and another thing with all this cloning going on including my slow
   awb project ( yes thanks for the reminder tom) somebody should build
   a D-dart clone. they only made  about fifty of them. i wonder what
   happened to them.
