If you put a little acetone or lac. thinner on a rag, I'll bet the printing goes away...leaves no residue if properly cleaned.

Hi,

I bought a new hood insulation pad and want to know which side of the
pad goes against the hood.

I hope that the "rough" side went against the hood but the smooth side
has the word "Knauf" on it in yellow paint. Knauf is the insulation
manufacturer and that type of insulation is also used on ductwork in
commercial buildings.

However, I'm pretty sure that the rough side was not against the hood
when it first came home since the pad was in pretty rough condition.

Please advise.

Thanks,

K.
