2" primary TTI's are working well on my '65 Coronet 500, with a 440 of near
500 cid. The Edelbrock heads angle the sparkplugs giving more clearance from
the big tubes. A nice combo, if you can save up the bucks.

I will recommend TTI based on excellent customer service. Here's the story:

On my first 440 build w/906 heads and the 2" TTI, had problem burning some
plug wires, and during cam run-in TTI tubes turned red with heat (unbeknowst to
me, sitting behind wheel, while more experienced friend watched it all
happen). Now believe my buddy had carb mixture too rich, was burning in the tubes.
TTI ceramic coating discolored, meaning exceeded 1,400 degrees.

Took the headers to TTI, President Sam explained the situation, it was clear
that TTI not at fault. He went ahead and recoated them for free. These were
also very early run 2-inchers, didn't have internal heat coating, and he did
that also for free. I don't think Sam can give away the store on every little
problem, but he certainly went beyond the call for me. The factory is very
clean & organized, they are quality folks there.
