Spare Tire Bolt qusestion

Can anyone out there tell me how long their hold-down bolt is for their 
spare?
It's for a 65 Belv and I've never had one with one to check (0 for 3, not 
very good odds).
My 64 has one that measures about 7.25" long overall but the location and 
mounting aren't the same.
I suppose I could just get the longest one to be safe but I was wondering if 
anyone had one to measure for me.
Layson's has them in various legnths and I'd like to get the right one and a 
wingnut.
