have you actually weighed your car at 3700? 65's were advertised at 3370, (will assume 273) mine weighed in at 3400 with 1/2 tank of gas. (before the roll bar) that is with a 440/727. did they shave 300 lbs from 63 to 65? fwiw, the 3400 lb springs will not lift the car, maybe the heavier ones would. tom 65 satellite --- Derrick Brown <derrickb@xxxxxxx> wrote: > hi again, > > hope this one gets thru : ) > > I am replacing the leafs in my 63 sport fury. > > the MP # 3690457 and 3690456 superstocks are in it > (and beat). > According to mancini, those are the right numbered > spings. but they > call out a 3400 lb car. > being that the car is closer to 3700 lbs why wouldnt > you go with the > 3690454 and 455 pair for the 3800lb car? a 426 > stage II is going in > the car. > > any comments out there? > > > Derrick Brown > derrickb@xxxxxxx > 63 Plymouth Sport Fury > > Your free subscription is supported by today's > sponsor: > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > Ben & Jerry?s® or Häagen-Dazs®? > Take our Nationwide Ice Cream Survey today!
