On a 63 Dodge, the first piece ( the one nearest the wing vent, and the "A pillar") is removed .
The long piece is then just popped off. It fits into the last piece at the rear( nearest the "B pillar").
So the longest piece is held in place at each end by the front and rear pieces. Pop off clips, hold it in place at the middle.
