While the X head were good , 202 intakes etc a set od f reworked Js are everybit as good when the 202 are installed. The transam cudas heads were based on thge J anyway. 
I had a set i did here (big intakes and proting)that flowed  258 cfm on the flow bench , intake side. That is more than adequate for a 340/360 motor and could support as much as 500-530 HP.
So if you have X smile if you have Js worry not , they are more than up to the job. I really dounbt in finished for there would be any difference
