Heaterless a problem?

Here's a simple one (hopefully) to start out the spring season ... my 
'64 Fury has (had) factory A/C, and I am not tucking that monster heater 
case back under the dash ... so ... until I get around (if ever) to 
finding a non-A/C case, I am assuming there are no engine cooling issues 
as a result of not running heater hoses, correct?

There is, of course, the downside of not having heat, but I don't plan 
on much chilly weather driving (she's not a trailer queen, but 
definitely a summer driver).  I suppose the worst that can happen is 
getting caught in a situation where I need the defroster (rain storm, 
etc.)

Anyway, thoughts about not running heater hoses?
