I tried and tried to get in touch with the property owner but they
didn't answer the phone and never returned a phone call.  Then one day
I drove by and all the cars were gone, and they tore the house down. 
After that I saw the car listed on moparts.com for sale, I contacted
that seller enough to confirm it was the same car.  IIRC he was asking
8k for it at that point so he probably had about 4k in it.
