How much, a huge difference. The beginning pressure before ingntion (compression pressure has a huge effect on power. Also adding a cam lowers the effective compression ratio becausethe intake valve is held open longer at the end of the intakestroke well into the beginning of the compression stroke. Until the intake valve closes no compression can take place
