I think everyone misses the real issue with 915 - 516 heads. Yes they will produce a higher compression ratio because of the chamber, but the chamber is the real advantage. A 906 head has some small inherent flow advantages, but the open chamber is not a squelch area chamber. I am including a great link to the first of three cylinder head articles. And I think if you open up the 516's to the larger exhaust you have about the same head, although I don't know what they flow.
