Bought a 64 Chrysler 300K in high school in 1980...the car project taught me electrical, engine building, mechanics, welding and fabricating, painting and bodywork, stereo design and install, metal polishing and chrome plating. It's not original but it's a cool , lead sled built from ground-up with powder coated frame. When you buy a car, if it's all stock, I'd keep it stock but mine wasn't so I just made it look and run nice with lots of chrome, nice, new leather upholstery and good stereo. Just my opinion. Being a purist I would cherish this vehicle and not change a thing. However I understand Bad Chad's intention but it would break my heart. See Bad Chad on Motor Trend and YouTube. He's amazing. I've owned my '64 Sport Fury for the last 49 years. 383, 727, console. Even the clock works. BTW original paint. Back to the main topic, do you keep it stock and enjoy history or radically change it to make it your revisionist history? Would love to hear comments from the group.--Bill
