Unfortunately it’s difficult to get anything out of a rattle can to look like “chrome”.   I matter what the cap looks like.

Right...  And after looking at it for a day, torn between "really good enough" and "it's not chrome", I'm going to try again with the Alclad chrome airbrush deal.
