Hi
              I  musta missed something here...so what was wrong with
pulling the distributor and driving the pump with an adapter and a 1/2"
drill.....doesn't take long ......

the only way to access the oil pump drive is internally. nothing  around the
filter area of the pump will access the  rotors.
