Hi gang. I bought a Richard Ehrenberg electronic ignition conversion kit . Pretty good deal I think for 145 bucks. New distributor, cap, rotor, ballast resistor, wire harness, ECU and plug wires. I wanted all new stuff , not a bunch of cobbled together junkyard crap from my stash.Anyhoo, I digress. What it doesn't come with is a coil. He says it can't be a fancy coil ( low resistance , I guess). It should have 1.4 to 1.8 ohms primary resistance. Is there a stock mopar coil I can get at the auto parts store that would meet that spec. What would be a good year / model mopar to tell them at the counter? I went on Summit and they didn't give a primary resistance spec on their mopar coils, only on the fancy aftermarket Mallory,Blaster, Accel, etc. stuff. This is a small block I am dealing with. I am back to wrenching on my off topic 340 Barracuda. Thanks ,Neal Z
