Neal, a leak could be from the park housing gasket, the small access plug, the cable O-ring, or the cable jacket. Clean everything and wait for the first drop! If the cable jacket is the cause, most people are successful in using wire shrink tubing over the cable jacket. The other causes are nuts and bolts.

--OK, now that I have the 65 coronet up and running, the trans seems solid except for a wee drip at the furthest back ( most rearward) cable, where it enters the trans. I think that cable is for the parking pawl but I can't remember for sure. It actually appears to be coming out of the little box assembly. What is the cause of this and is there an easy fix?--Thanks

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
