My ‘62 Plymouth max wedge is a Sport Fury and came from the factory with radio and front sway bar! When talking to previous owner Roland Osborne about it when I bought it he said the guy he got it from both raced it and drove it all over, almost a daily driver. Hey...... Thanks for all the interesting posts........ VERY INTERESTING and nice to see other Mopar people exist. To each their own, who knows why. Maybe the car was for more than exclusively on dragstrips? But that duty was the
role for the 426 street wedge. Perhaps the buyer was unable to snag the aluminum front end option?
Of course, investing in serious Mopar drag racing in 1964 would mean *Hemi* after the 426 Hemi was made available in
the B-Body cars, though the Max Wedge cars remained cool. :)
Thanks,
Gary H.
