I’ve had pretty good luck with Bosch alternators.  I believe they can be ordered through Auto Zone.

As for the alternator, you need to decide if you want new or reman. The amp rating may be stamped on the OE

alternator in your truck. I am assuming you need to get what the OE was unless you added a bunch of aftermarket

electronics.

NAPA usually has good stuff.

Of course, if you buy online you need to figure in the cost of shipping back your core alternator, if you choose to do so.
