1965 coronet core support openings

My 65 coronet is a factory poly 318 car and has an 18x22 radiator core.  I guess the core support  horizontal opening is about 22ish  inches roughly. What size radiators did big block (not hemis) 65 coronets come with? And what would be the core support opening width?

  I ask because I am wondering if I ever upgrade to big block, do I need to hack open my core support to a wider hole? Would prefer to not do that. I have seen it done and it's not pretty
