If you don't want to rely on a compressor to hold your valves closed, or
don't have the attachment, you can use a three foot long piece of cotton
rope to feed into your spark plug hole. Turn the crank to compress the
rope against the valves, and do your thing. Just reverse turn the crank,
and pull the rope back out of the cylinder.  Tom in Dallas
