What with the dipstick problem bringing on the smoking problem that now
doesn't seem to want to go away, I have a poser.
My compression is between 110 and 130 on all 8 cylinders. So it would seem
that my rings and valves are good. So how does the oil get into the cylinders?
Would it mean my valve guide seals are bad?
And if so, do you have to take the heads off to change valve seals?
Or any other suggestions for how the oil gets in the cylinders?
Thanks for any advice.
Paul
