I've heard a lot about Racer Brown cams on this list. I might try a Brown cam with the same lift as the comp you suggested but maybe with just a tad longer duration. Of course, I'm new to this cam stuff. Thanks a bunch for your 2 cents Joe!

That new comp cam xe285HL is pretty stout, somewhere in the range of 245   
duration and over 525 lift.  I have the xe275hl which has about 231  duration and  
525 lift.  No problems, but it hasn't been raced yet.   Comp has came out   
with the EX/HL Mopar specific grinds that are reportedly  doing a good job.   
Racer Brown makes good stuff too.  With all the  Hughes bad press, I'd probably  
stay away from them.  My 2  cents...Joe
