Is that the pan with the sump that looks like a shallow box with
reverse-curved corners? Or is it the flared-out deep sump that looks kinda
triangular from head-on? I have that one in my '65 Coronet which has been
street driven with no pan trouble for a couple years now. I did have to
notch one side of the K-member for pan clearance and lightly shim the
tranny mount for drag link clearance. It is, however, the best aftermarket
extra-capacity pan I could find in terms of how it fit.

I saw an oil pan in the Feb. issue of Mopar Muscle (Delivering
Displacement pg. 26) the pan is a Milodon wide sump pan part number 31580(
the article has the numbers backward). I called Milodon and they said the
pan should fit a 64 B-body, has a 5 1/2 inch sump and 7 qt. capacity. My
question is has anyone tried to use this pan? Milodon calls it a circle
track pan but I attempted to find some info on it but
nothing is mentioned not even the Milodon web site. Thanks for your help
and time. Love those early B cars. Long live Max Wedges.
