Joe,
Thanks for the tip and the clarification. Most of us have seen otherwise 'good' Imp's parted out just so someone could snag an RB block, when more imaginable ways of getting a motor exist. As for the fact that one can get 2 Imps for one Satellite, thats a valid point most the time. Odd, as you get twice the car, all the toys, some leather, and guarenteed fried rice should the unfortunate collision occur. Sometimes, its well worth the few extra seconds to 60mph. After getting nailed on my way back home in my 'new' '63 Belvedere by a Honda, I was wishing I had a solid welded front section of a '66 Imperial. I'd have fewer parts to search out.

I'll be checking out those places you recommended, thanks again.

Don House in Clatskanie Oregon has at least 10 Imps - mostly moss covered
rusted out bodies, Exit 71 Auto Wrecking in Napavine, WA has a couple including
a nice 66. Imperials are cheap when compared to big block B bodies. I
personally love Imperials, but the calling for them just ain't there, the big
block B bodies are bring premium prices compared to the Imps. I'm just saying
that if you find a ratted out imperial, don't pass up the motor! Didn't mean
to step on any toes ;-) Joe
