On the other hand, if there's a 65 Satallite out there, I need a 413 for my Imperial and could resell the car to a derbydude. :-)

I live in central Ohio and 2 years ago I drove up to NW Ohio to get a
413/trans out of a 65 Imperial. 413 and 4-spd now powering my 64 Polara.
The kid and his dad drove clear down to North Carolina to buy this car,
swap motors and demo derby it. Thy did this regularly, swapping in
smallblock chevys cause he said they hot started better than RB Mopars.
I bought a running 413/trans and another 413 not stuck for $450. I told
him I'd take any more he got. Imperials aren't my favorite Mopars, but I
hate to see ANY old car tore up in a demo derby if it's salvageable.
BTW, it was a rough ride 100 miles home with 2 413's and an auto trans
in my Dakota R/T! Those things are HEAVY!

FYI, Imperials have a following all their own. To say they are good for molesting is pretty much recommending yanking a 413 out of a original B body, numbers matching Fury for use in an Imperial. There are plenty of good blocks in the various Mopar yards around Lots of people have wasted many a New Yorker or 3/4 Ton pickup or Imperial to snag used motors out of. Joe, let me know if you find a cheap Imperial in Washington, there are plenty of buyers for it in the Imperial club.
