FYI, Imperials have a following all their own. To say they are good for molesting is pretty much recommending yanking a 413 out of a original B body, numbers matching Fury for use in an Imperial. There are plenty of good blocks in the various Mopar yards around Lots of people have wasted many a New Yorker or 3/4 Ton pickup or Imperial to snag used motors out of.
Joe, let me know if you find a cheap Imperial in Washington, there are plenty of buyers for it in the Imperial club.

Tim, a good place to look for a 440 is some of the older Imperials. Seems
to be lots of them out here (Washington) that are unmolested, and for some
reason, nobody pays that much attention to them. The owners usually didn't beat
on them like a muscle motor. Joe
