Usually you can only bore them out to 426, which is 0.060" over. Supposedly
some Industrial/Moptorhome 413 blocks were 440 castings and thus could be
bored to 440, but I've nothing to comfirm this. Just heard it somewhere
once. I'd check my motorhome block, but I'm using it for transportation.

Occasionally I see 413 engines for sale pretty cheap.  They have the
same stroke as a 440, but can they be bored out to the larger 440
diameter, or will the cylinder sleeves be too thin at that size?
