is the car running? if you have a manual valve body,
put the car in drive, just barely rolling, nail it and watch
the tach, where it takes off is the real stall.
i am not sure if this works with a normal valve body.

it is not uncommon for lets say a 4500 stall convertor
to flash at 4300 for instance. in that case it is reallly
a 4300 stall convertor.

Gents......
I'm finishing a 65 "B" A990 clone and can't find any info on the stall speed of the torque converter.
Is there any easy way to find this out without taking it apart ??? It has a new B&M 727 but no place on the paperwork is this spelled out.
Thx Bob Winchell
