Can anyone tell me the proper method to test vacume value at the carb tube that goes to the distributor vacume advance assembly? And what is good vacume for a 62 318 poly, 2bbl. auto? Do you test it at idle only or at a certain rpm, or both? And is manifold vacume a different value than distributor vacume advance? I've studied my shop manual and I can't find any reference to testing vacume. It must be in there, right? What section would it be in? Please help me you poly wizards. Thanks.
