Cut the sheet metal from the sides to make patches and small rust repairs.
There is no market for used, non working appliances. I have had to haul off
and trash working stuff just to get it out of my way, and the landfill has a
pile of them that would fill up a rail road car!

Hi Gang,

I've got an old washer and dryer that were replaced in the summer. The
dryer's timer went south and it almost cost as
much for a new dryer as to have it repaired. So, we bought a new set and I
haven't been able to give these old things
away. My question is this, before I haul these things off to the dump, does
anyone have any good interesting ideas for
uses other than cleaning rags? Anyone got any home brew inventions that
might help out the old Mopars? If not, these
things are dumpster bound.
OMC - Checked the coolant in the '62 today and I found out that I did indeed
only use water to fill it back up when I
did the rad in the summer. Thank goodness that there was enough A/F left to
keep the "coolant" liquid. (8-0 I'm off
to get a fresh jug of A/F today and do what I thought I did in the summer.
