Subject: Refresh my memory...318 Poly w/new style tranny??

Can someone refresh my memory? If I have a car w/the 318 Poly in it,
can I use a "new style" 727 tranny? I've got the console shifter, if I
remember right I will need to install a new shifter, but otherwise a
new 727 tranny will work with the Poly.

Correct?

Thanks!
Andy
