Go to your local chry. dealer and get him to cross reference the part no.
many times the part will start out with a no, 2275 588 is a 1962 and after
no. from a prior year and when they are used up they will start a new no..
you would have to have a parts book that was printed at the end of the
manufacter year, in 1964 case it would be printed in july 1964, to be
currant for that year. it could also change in years after so you need to
cross reference it to other years to see what will work  Dave O

I have a dilema here, maybe someone in the group can answer. I bought a part
at a swap meet that is supposed to be a 64 B-body sender.    I'm confused
though, the box says 2525 661  but the part inside says 2497 578  and  07
5 on the disc shaped stampping that mates to the tank.  Any thoughts?Someone
recently identified the 63-5 B-body wagon sender as 2275 588, so that
eliminates that possibility.
