Hello all.

I have just brought home a 63 Newport project car. The previous owners,
the thrid owners of the car, new a great deal about the history of the
car and told me that it was originally from California. They are going
to try and find the address to the second owner for me who supposedly
drove the car to Michigan from California over 15 years ago. There are
old California AAA stickers on the bumper as well as a 10 year member
AAA sticker in the back window.

One piece that has my interest is a badge taht has been attached to the
back of the car that looks like a dealership badge of some sort. It
looks like this:

Kay
St.Louis

Of course the lettering is much more stylized in kind of a script style.
So group does anyone know of a dealership by this name or would use
that type of badge. If so is it in fact in California? Is it still in
business by any chance?

Any help would be appreciated.
