Two summers ago when I had my 361 rebuilt, I bought the Miloden pan.
The builder had some doubts about it fitting but we put the melling pump and
Miloden pickup and pan on the engine anyway. I tried a test fit with my
hoist
and the engine was off the mounts by about 1" on each side and it was
because
of the size of the sump, and it hitting the steering. I put the original
pan back on, had to bend the pickup a little to fit it before the engine
went to the dyno. I took some photos before removing the engine and the fit
was pretty close, I guess so close it's the only pan that will fit my 361.

That's a great stack comparison you've done, one that should be put on the
website. As these 62-65 Mopars become ever more desirable (according to
MCG this month), more questions are bound to come up about these blocks.

I must admit I was disappointed as I really liked the "look" of the
Miloden pan and was looking forward to seeing it in action.

hello list

I've added an oil pan to the stack..we call it a "hemi" pan for the lack
of any markings.

We bought it from mancini a couple years ago, it came with the 1/2"
diameter pickup.

The pan is very close in shape to the 187 pan but slightly deeper and
with baffles.
