Anaerobic seal anything and very tightly, and resist high temperatures and allow disassembly. This is just what I use in the piping trades every day and swear by it. It fills slight gaps and even seals cross-threads. Worked for me. Should be clean of course. Just my opinion and advice. It will emit a poisionous gas as well when exposed to that much heat. In the petrochemical industry, I use anti-seize almost daily , and while it does prevent the nuts from ever seizing on a bolt, it does'nt seal threads. At least nothing I've used has. There are a number of types that contain copper, or nickel. The nickel being the best, and most compatible with every metal. If it worked for you that's great, but it won't seal my threads. It's not designed to. Even with clean threads. I don't favor red RTV to do that, as well, but it will .Permatex will also. It is the last resort for me, and will do the job.
