Thanks for the info. I have read about low end torque with single plane 
manifolds.
I have the factory dual plane on my engine now with a stock 1200-1500 
converter and 2:76 gears. The new engine with the single plane will have 
a 2800 converter, 3:54 gears, with headers to help it until it comes 
alive at the 3000-3500 rpm range.
