I bought one several years ago from Advance for my '64 Belvedere as a replacement part. It had the same "footprint" as the original mechanical regulator. The only difference was the cover. It was chrome and much shallower than the original. I removed the chrome cover, took some wire cutters and trimmed the circuit board edges, and put the old mechanical cover on. Looks factory but works much better.
