I bought an old 2x4 inline that was a factory installed option on the 383 from 1959-1962. I also have 2 600 Edelbrocks and can't wait to see what it's going to do. Don's running a ch28 with AFB's and is turning mid elevens in a 4100 lb Charger. In his book , he says the heartbeat of his package is the CH28 manifold. He's tried some of the newer manifolds with single 4 bbls and hasn't beat this combo yet. He mills the center divider 3/8" under both carbs (AFB Marine) and jets them up 4 sizes all round. He says they're the best kept secret around as performance is "stunning". Plus. I like the "old school" look. Don't get rid of it. I don't think they make them anymore. You can check Don's website at big-d@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Edelbrock makes linkage and fuel lines for them too. You might also try http:/www.3.sympatico.ca for Don. He has 2 listed. He's definately an old school Mopar guy.
