I've heard that mice don't like the fabric softener sheets that you put 
in the dryer.  Rub some on the seats and then put some in the bags when 
you wrap the seats up.  Cheap solution that's worth at least a try.

Sticky traps beside the seat with a peanut set in the middle are sure to 
be a deterant too.
