Ron,

Just went through the process of purchasing tires for the '62. TireRack.com, the link is below, has a pretty good tire size conversion chart that gives some basic information. Another useful chart is the one at Tiresafety.com. This is a chart that breaks down diameter size of all the sizes, but it does not list the older sizes; however, that is where the first chart at Tirerack.com comes in handy.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/size_conversion.jsp

http://www.tiresafety.com/replacement/replace_nav.htm# (click on overall diameter chart)

Hope this helps.

Buck

Hi All -

I took delivery on my '63 Sport Fury last week and can't wait to get it
streetable. I need to know two things at the moment. Which battery Group
24 or Group 27 for a '63 Sport Fury 383 w/o ac? What is the diameter of
a 7.50x14 tire?

Thanks.

Ron
