Thanks for the help.
It appears that an RB distributor shaft is about 1/2" to 1" longer than
a B motor shaft. I'll be getting a 383 distributor so I'll confirm that
later to the list. As far as the adaptor for putting an RB distributor
in a B motor, that baby is "only" about $60 at Summit. I can get a
rebuilt distributor for about $60 so I'm going that route.
