Joe,

I think it is a great soap box. Forums like ours are for informing
members
about issues like this. I have made a couple of mistakes like that in
the
past on Ebay. Because I did not have the time to research what I could
purchase an item for. Later, only to find out I could have bought it
retail
for less. Yes it is taking advantage of someone, but I guess the old
saying
of "Buyer Beware" really applies on Ebay. I will not buy any new item on
Ebay anymore without researching how much I can get it for retail or how
much the used part cost when it was new. It just goes to show you that
only the "True" good guys hang out here.

Earl

I've only purchased a couple of items from E Bay. One turned out to
be a
cracked intake that was advertised to be in excellent shape. Last night
I
noticed that a person "rehrenberg 4286" was selling Mopar oil slingers
#2899530,
as well as other items. The current bid was 16.75 with a buy it now @
24.95.
Moparts lists them for 6.95. I guess a guy has the right to make a
buck, but
that kind of grated on my nerves. We're all in this sport together and
it
seems a shame to take advantage of someone who dosent know any better.
Oh well,
I'll get off my soap box, thanks for letting me rant. Joe
