I'm presently doing a 63' Ply. Fury conv. and am trying to make it into a
car that I owned in '63. The 318 is to be replaced with a 413 opened up to
426 with 3/4 cam, rollers, 2x4 intakes, etc. I want a street machine with
boy dog ability...I'm debateing (with myself) about lifting the compression
to 10.75 / 1 (cutting stock heads .035) This debate is centered around the
need for higher octane to make it purr....will adding booster siffice ?
There is no supply of racing gas around here and it's better than $4.00 a
gallon when found...How much booster is needed and is it available in large
containers ? Bob Fortson
