Interesting! Wade's '62 may be an exception. Wade: Does the stamping on
the firewall match the vin plate on the '62's driver's door frame?

Can anyone else with a '62 to '65 Mopar in restoration or having
restored one previously remember seeing a vin stamped on the firewall,
or anywhere else, on a '62 to '65 unibody?

The consensus of a previous discussion here, based on Bill Watson's
report, was:

"The VIN did not apppear on the body tag until 1969.
The VIN did not appear on the engine or transmission until 1968.
The VIN was not stamped on the car body until 1968."

Thanks,
Gary H.

This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
