Well after a day and a half of actual work:

The front half of the interior is out.
The old torqueflite is out.
The floor tunnel installed (but not seam sealed).
The pedals are mostly in (just need to put my manual master cylinder on and tighten things up).
The flywheel, clutch, bellhousing, transmission, and fork are in (but not the cross member).
U-joints are replaced, but driveshaft is not installed.
All shifter linkage accounted for and fabricated as necessary.

Now the great question of the day - with the automatic, there was a shim for the starter. I put the shim back when I bolted the starter up, but it does not cover the entire opening between the starter and the block. I'm running the 11" set-up on a big block. Is there a special starter shim for 11" 4spd cars? Is there a whole other plate I'm missing?

Almost there, save for fabricating a Z-bar and frame bracket.
