Hello Group - I just bought a 65 Barracuda and the owner included a bunch of spare parts and said everything was there "to convert the 273 to a Formula S - heads, intake, valve covers, carb, etc" . Unless the domed pistons, cam, etc are used it's still just a 180 horse 273. I've misplaced my white book on casting numbers and need some assistance in determining what set of heads/intake I actually have. Anyway the numbers on the heads are, I believe, 2465315. Could also be maybe 2465815. They do not have the adjustable rockers, but the later ones. Intake valve is a pretty decent size - rough measurement 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 in across. I'm hoping that they're maybe a later 340 or 360 head. Intake was much easier to read - 2465726 - it's definitely a 4 barrel. If anyone can help me out, I'd like to know what I've got. Thanks in advance.
