We've tossed this around before and there are good and bad joints doing
good and bad work.  I would suggest you stay with your original and have
it rechromed.  Bumpers tent to "mold" to a car with it's minor bends and
twists and trying to fit a foreign cars heavy metal to yours could require
hydraulic equipment.

Just my 2 cents.
