OK...ring and pinion swap time...

Any hints/suggestions/secrets?  I have identified that I do have the tapered axles.  Not a big deal, I can accept that.  I've got a 3.73 ring and pinion set to put into my 741 casting rear end.
 
So I know I have to pull the axles to do the r/p swap.  Anything else?  Are there any tricks/problems with RE-installing (putting back together) then tapered axles once I am done?
