No problem installing, cut the fenderwell out in one piece and if you want you can always weld them back and grind the weld down. It does generate a lot more heat under the hood, so a scoop helps the air flow. I have never had a over heating problem. Fred When I put my '63 Fury together 5 years ago, I really wanted fendewell headers as I think they look awsome, but at that time couldn't find any, so I went with conventional headers. Although I would hate to cut out my fenders, it might be worth it.
