George brings up a point to consider.Is the car stock height or is it
raised? Also,is it the tapered axle rear or flanged?
Personally,I have altered springs and a 65 rear on my 64 Belve.I have
275/60's on 15x8 steelies with 4.5" of backspacing..5-.75" clearance on
both sides.I could probably get 295's in there but would then have to go
with 10" rims.
